Washer & Dryer Installation
Toronto & GTA
Plumbing, electrical, and dryer venting handled correctly every time. Front load, top load, stacked units, and laundry centres. Serving Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughan, and across the GTA.
Laundry Installation Has Three Systems That All Need to Be Right
Water supply, drainage, and dryer venting each need to be connected correctly. Miss one and you're looking at leaks, mould, or a fire risk.
Washer and dryer installation looks straightforward on the surface. Hook up the hoses, plug it in, done. In reality, getting it right means understanding your home's plumbing pressure, making sure drainage is properly configured, and confirming your dryer vent is clear, correctly sized, and properly sealed. These are the things delivery crews skip.
Common problems we see from rushed or unqualified installs:
- Washing machine hoses not secured with clamps, leading to slow leaks behind the unit
- Drain hose positioned incorrectly, causing siphoning or water backup
- Dryer vent connected with duct tape instead of proper fittings, creating a lint fire hazard
- Stacked unit not secured correctly, creating a tipping risk during spin cycles
- Machine not levelled, causing excessive vibration and premature wear on drum bearings

- Hot and cold water supply connections with proper hose clamps

How We Handle Every Washer & Dryer Installation
From in-suite condo laundry to basement utility rooms in Vaughan new builds, we've installed every configuration across the GTA. We bring the right tools for stacking, venting, and the plumbing quirks that older Toronto homes are known for.
Space & Utility Check
We confirm your water connections, drain standpipe, electrical outlet, and vent path before work begins. No surprises on installation day.
Old Unit Removal
Existing washer and dryer disconnected and removed carefully. Water supply shut off properly before disconnection.
Water & Drain Connections
Hot and cold supply lines connected with proper hose clamps. Drain hose positioned at correct height to prevent siphoning.
Dryer Venting
Vent duct connected with approved metal fittings and sealed correctly. Airflow tested. A blocked or leaking vent is a lint fire waiting to happen.
Leveling & Stacking
Both units leveled to prevent vibration and noise. Stacking kits installed correctly for stacked configurations. Pedestals fitted where applicable.
Full Test & Sign-Off
Wash cycle and dryer run tested before we leave. All connections checked for leaks. Documentation provided for warranty records.

Washer & Dryer Installation FAQs
How long does washer and dryer installation take?
Most standard installations take between one and two hours for both units. Stacked configurations and laundry centres may take slightly longer depending on space and venting requirements.
Do you handle dryer venting?
Yes. Proper dryer venting is included in every dryer installation. We connect to your existing vent duct using approved metal fittings, verify airflow, and advise if duct cleaning or vent upgrades are required. A blocked or improperly connected vent is one of the leading causes of household fires in Ontario.
Can you install a stacked washer and dryer?
Yes. We install stacked front-load pairs, laundry centres, and front-load units on pedestals. Stacking kits are handled as part of the installation. We ensure the stack is secured correctly to prevent movement during spin cycles.
Can you install laundry in a condo?
Yes. In-suite laundry in condos often has specific venting, plumbing, and noise requirements. Some buildings require property manager approval before installation. We are experienced with condo laundry setups across Toronto and can advise on any approval requirements upfront.
Will you remove my old washer and dryer?
Yes. We disconnect and remove your existing units as part of the job. Just let us know when booking and we'll factor it into the appointment.
What if my laundry space is in a tight spot?
Tight laundry closets and narrow utility rooms are common across Toronto homes and condos. We bring the right tools and experience to work in confined spaces without damaging your walls or cabinetry.
